DOST-ITDI congratulates its very own, Dr. Annabelle V. Briones, for being among the 2021 Asian Scientist 100!

As an esteemed researcher, she also received the 2020 Gregorio Y. Zara Award for Applied Science Research for her outstanding work in the Mosquito Ovicidal/Larvicidal Trap.

Dr. Briones is one of the eight Filipino scientists honored by the Asian Scientist Magazine this year.

She joins the ranks of brilliant and accomplished scientists from China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Hong Kong SAR, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam in fields ranging from molecular imaging to quantum computing, who all made a difference amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
