The Makati Jaycees (JCI Makati) launch PINC – POSITIVE IMPACT ON NATION’S CHANGE,  its flagship program with the City Government of Pasay to address the 17 areas of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals through a weeklong citywide outreach program.

PINC’s holistic services will start on November 12 and will run until Nov 17, with three key developmental projects in three different venues and areas of Pasay City. The series of activities will culminate with the PINC Congress on Nov 18 at the Cuneta Astrodome.

This massive information campaign expects to gather more than 5,000 students from various high schools and colleges from around the city so they can learn a wide array of educational topics from gender and sexuality to livelihood and financial literacy.

Spearheaded by JCI Makati and the City Government of Pasay, this major citywide affair will be made possible through the support of the National Youth Commission and Arellano University alongside a host of major corporate sponsors and private partnerships.

The media launch was led by JCI Makati President Joey G Garcia with Pasay Councilor Joey Calixto Isidro and Pasay Ambassador for Youth Luigi Rubiano who shared how Pasay City is so lucky to serve as one of the recipients and beneficiaries of this remarkable public service program of the Jaycees.

They were joined by JCI Makati Past President Pocholo Gonzales, JCI Makati Executive Vice President Lawrence Li Tan, who owns and runs the Dessert Museum and Lakbay Museo, who talked about the diversity of resources pooled to make this seven-day event as comprehensive as possible.

City University of Pasay Acting President Dr Rosanie Estuche and Alpha Phi Omega NCR Regional Director Archie Bugarin with APO Member Ponce Abastillas also graced the press launch as educational and civil society partners in the program.

Alpha Phi Omega, founded on the tenets of commitment to service, will be fielding their doctor and lawyer brothers and sisters to give free dental, medical, and legal services on Nov 14.

Meanwhile, UP will be conducting a room to room campaign to invite and require all of its students to attend the Congress and be further enlightened about social, economic, and personal issues, challenges, and options to become better citizens and persons.

JCI Past President Gonzales, Voice Master (being the voice behind major K-dramas!) and motivational speaker, vows to revive JCI Pasay to continue and pass on their legacy of 51 years of sustainable programs to develop youth leaders and address all Millennium Development Goals!

PINC is JCI Makati’s biggest project to date and Pasay is proud to have it for the Pasayenos!
