Nonprofit organization Make-A-Wish® Philippines is gearing up for its first-ever charity golf tournament—Swing for Wishes—a landmark event to celebrate the foundation’s 25th anniversary in the country.
Guided by its mission to bring hope, strength, and joy to children with critical illnesses, Make-A-Wish® Philippines has granted 5,507 wishes and counting since its establishment in 2000. Now in its 25th year, the organization partnered with COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises to amplify its efforts during this important milestone.
Make-A-Wish® Philippines aims to channel the proceeds from the upcoming Swing for Wishes charity golf tournament towards granting the life-changing wishes of 525 children with critical illnesses. In line with this, the foundation calls on aspiring golfers, enthusiasts, and professionals to join this important milestone and to help make children’s wishes come true, one swing at a time.
Participants can look forward to a fulfilling day, including the tournament proper in the morning, followed by an Awarding and Culminating Activity at midday to commemorate the organization’s anniversary with celebrations, games, and more. Interested golfers can register solo for only ₱5,000, while a group of four players can register for ₱17,000, and non-golfers can register for the evening celebrations for only ₱1,250. Individuals who would like to grant a wish for a child may also register as playing donors, priced at ₱15,000. The donor will have the opportunity to witness their efforts firsthand as they contribute to a child’s wish journey. The foundation also welcomes monetary and in-kind sponsorships from interested parties.
