Kevin Yang, co-founder of Proof of Learn, has been honored as one of the “People to Watch 2025” by the Asia Leaders Awards, recognizing his significant contributions to education technology and his innovative approach to integrating blockchain with learning platforms.

Before venturing into the Web3 education space, Yang played a pivotal role at McDonald’s Philippines. As part of the team, he was instrumental in developing and scaling the company’s web and mobile applications. Under his guidance, these platforms achieved over 10 million downloads and generated approximately $100 million in revenue in 2021.

Transitioning from his achievements in the fast-food industry, Yang co-founded Proof of Learn, a Web3 education platform that incentivizes students by allowing them to earn rewards as they learn. One of its flagship initiatives, Metacrafters.io, is a game designed to teach blockchain coding skills, effectively merging education with interactive technology.
